Terms & Conditions

All bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

A booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.

The booking fee covers use of the field only for the specific date and time booked.

Bookings are non-transferable without our prior consent.

Opening Hours

The field is available for booking between 5:00am and 10:00pm.

Users must vacate the site promptly at the end of their booked session.

​

Use of the Field

The field is intended for private exercise of dogs in a secure environment.

Maximum dogs permitted per booking: 6.

Maximum vehicles permitted per booking: 3.

All dogs remain the responsibility of their owner or handler at all times.

Dogs must remain on lead until safely inside the secure field with the gate fully closed.

Dogs must be placed back on lead before opening the exit gate.

 

Health and Welfare

Dogs attending the field must be healthy and free from infectious illness.

Dogs showing signs of sickness, including vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, or contagious disease, must not attend.

Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs are appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites.

No dog may be left unattended at any time.

Banned Breeds

Dogs prohibited under current UK legislation are not permitted to use Harborough Dog Walking Fields.

Any booking found to be in breach of this condition may be terminated immediately without refund.

​

Children

Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.

Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.

No person under the age of 18 may use the field without adult supervision.

Dog agility equipment, structures, gates, fencing, benches and other site features are not designed for children's play.

Agility Equipment and Play Features

Any agility equipment, tyres, tunnels, sand pits, shelters, jumps, platforms or other facilities provided on site are used entirely at your own risk.

Owners are responsible for assessing whether equipment is suitable for their dog before use.

Harborough Dog Walking Fields accepts no liability for injury, damage or loss arising from the use of any equipment or site feature.

Fencing and Security

Whilst every effort is made to maintain secure fencing, gates and boundaries, no guarantee can be given that the site is escape-proof.

Users must inspect the field upon arrival and satisfy themselves that it is suitable and secure before releasing their dog.

Any damage or defect must be reported immediately.

Parking and Access

Parking is only permitted within designated areas.

Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner's risk.

Please drive slowly and carefully when entering or leaving the site.

​

Dog Waste

All dog waste must be picked up immediately.

Waste must be placed in the designated bins provided.

Failure to remove dog waste may result in refusal of future bookings.

​

General Conduct

Please respect neighbouring properties, livestock, wildlife and other users.

Excessive noise, abusive behaviour or antisocial conduct will not be tolerated.

Littering is prohibited.

All toys, balls and personal belongings must be removed at the end of your session.

Digging by dogs should be discouraged wherever possible.

Smoking, Vaping and Fires

Smoking, vaping, naked flames, barbecues and fireworks are prohibited anywhere on the site.

 

CCTV

CCTV operates throughout parts of the site for security, safety and crime prevention purposes.

By entering the premises you consent to the recording of CCTV images.

​

Professional Dog Walkers and Trainers

Professional dog walkers, trainers and other commercial users are welcome.

Commercial users remain responsible for all dogs under their control and must ensure they hold appropriate insurance and comply with all applicable laws and professional standards.

Liability

Use of Harborough Dog Walking Fields is entirely at your own risk.

The field is a rural environment and may contain uneven ground, mud, natural vegetation, insects, wildlife and other hazards commonly associated with countryside locations.

Harborough Dog Walking Fields accepts no liability for injury, illness, death, loss or damage suffered by any person, dog, vehicle or property whilst using the facility, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful.

Privacy

Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the administration of bookings, customer communication and business operations.

Payment information is processed securely by our payment providers and is not stored by Harborough Dog Walking Fields.

Amendments

These Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time.

The latest version published on our website will apply to all future bookings.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
